1. Responsible use
You may use the website to learn about Basement Bandits, review public show information, communicate with the band, and submit legitimate event inquiries. You must use the website lawfully, honestly, in good faith, and in a way that does not interfere with other people or the website’s operation.
You are responsible for activity performed through your device, account, email address, payment method, or organization and for ensuring that submitted information is accurate and authorized.
2. Prohibited conduct
You may not use the website or related services to:
- Violate any law, regulation, court order, contractual obligation, or third-party right.
- Submit false, deceptive, fraudulent, harassing, threatening, discriminatory, defamatory, obscene, or unlawfully invasive content.
- Impersonate another person or organization, misrepresent your authority, create a fraudulent event inquiry, or provide false venue, payment, attendance, safety, or contact information.
- Send spam, unsolicited promotions, chain messages, abusive communications, or repeated requests intended to burden or intimidate.
- Upload, transmit, or link to malware, malicious code, corrupted data, credential-stealing material, or content designed to damage or compromise a system.
- Infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other proprietary rights.
- Use the website to facilitate violence, exploitation, unlawful discrimination, illegal transactions, or other material harm.
- Attempt payment fraud, chargeback abuse, identity theft, unauthorized card use, or circumvention of booking approval and deposit requirements.
3. Security and platform integrity
Without prior written authorization, you may not probe, scan, test, exploit, reverse engineer, bypass, disable, or interfere with website security, access controls, rate limits, bot controls, forms, APIs, databases, payment protections, or third-party integrations.
You may not access or attempt to access nonpublic information, another person’s request, administrative functionality, credentials, secrets, source data not intentionally published, or systems for which you do not have permission. Do not conceal malicious activity, forge headers, evade blocking, or use distributed systems to overwhelm the service.
Good-faith security reports should be sent privately to booking@basementbandits.com. Do not publicly disclose a vulnerability before we have had a reasonable opportunity to investigate and address it.
4. Automation, scraping, and data use
Ordinary search-engine indexing is permitted when it respects published crawler instructions. Other automated access, scraping, harvesting, bulk extraction, monitoring, or repeated querying is prohibited when it:
- circumvents technical controls or published instructions;
- collects personal information or booking data;
- creates excessive load or degrades the service;
- copies substantial website content or media for commercial use;
- trains, evaluates, or supplies a commercial dataset or model without permission; or
- otherwise violates these policies or applicable law.
We may provide written permission for a specific automated use subject to limits and conditions.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and take proportionate action, including rejecting or cancelling requests, limiting access, blocking traffic, preserving relevant records, notifying service providers, seeking reimbursement for misuse, or reporting conduct to appropriate authorities. We may act immediately when needed to protect people, data, systems, payments, or legal rights.
We are not required to monitor all activity, and failure to enforce this policy in one instance does not waive our right to enforce it later. Enforcement is subject to applicable law and any controlling signed agreement.
6. Reporting concerns
To report abuse, suspected fraud, security issues, intellectual-property concerns, or other policy violations, email booking@basementbandits.com. Include enough detail for us to understand and investigate the issue, but do not send passwords, full card numbers, or unnecessary sensitive information.
